Celebrating Constitution Day at Mount Tipton!
Mount Tipton Elementary School proudly commemorated Constitution Day today with a special event honoring the founding document of our nation and the freedoms it represents.
We were grateful to welcome members of our local VFW and American Legion Posts, including:

American Legion Post 88 – Dolan Springs

Thank you to these local veterans and community members for joining our students and staff and helping make Constitution Day a meaningful learning experience. We appreciate you sharing your time, service, and knowledge with the Mount Tipton community!
Mohave College Robotics and Automation instructors brought a Fanuc CRX-5iA collaborative robot (cobot) to the Kingman High School Career Center for an exciting, hands-on demonstration.
Students rotated through interactive stations where they explored components of programs offered through Mohave College’s Advanced Manufacturing Training Center. One of the biggest highlights was the opportunity for students to input codes and program the cobot to perform different movements!
Experiences like this give students a glimpse into the exciting opportunities available in robotics, automation, and advanced manufacturing—and show how classroom learning can connect directly to future careers. 🚀🤖

We love seeing our students connect across grade levels, learn from one another, and build a strong sense of community within KUSD.

Learning About the American Flag!
The Kingman Lions Club recently visited our first-grade students at Little Explorers Early Learning Center to introduce them to the Flags for First Graders program!
Students learned about the history and importance of the American flag, and at the end of the presentation, each student received their very own miniature American flag. ❤️

Our dedicated staff are spending part of their summer participating in professional development opportunities that help them better serve our students. Recently, team members attended AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) training 🗣️💙 to strengthen their ability to support our non-verbal students in developing communication and language skills.
We are proud of our educators' commitment to continuous learning, growth, and ensuring every student has the tools they need to succeed! 🌟🎓🙌

Manzanita Elementary School’s Spring Carnival was a big hit last Thursday! 🎡 Students and their families came out for a fun filled evening.
🎤 Some of the games included karaoke, limbo, ring toss on the alligator, egg walk, 🎳 bowling, and many more fun challenges. 🐊🥚
💧 Students also had the chance to visit The Nature of Groundwater Exhibit from Arizona Project WET! This interactive exhibit featured three educational groundwater displays where families could explore, learn, and discover more about the importance of groundwater. 🌎🚰

Oscar Lopez, with the City of Kingman Fire Department worked with the seniors at Kingman High School to teach Hands-Only CPR—an important graduation requirement and a skill that can truly save lives.
When CPR is started right away, survival rates increase significantly. These students are walking away with the knowledge and confidence to take action in an emergency. 👏💪
