The Arts

Kingman Unified School District #20 provides a variety of opportunities for its students to explore their creative abilities through the Arts. To cultivate a well-rounded child, classes & clubs are available during the school day and after-school for grades K-12 in music, theater, and visual/graphic arts.

The Kingman Unified School District Music Department offers a comprehensive music education for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade supported by certified music educators. KUSD is readily known for its tradition of musical excellence locally and across Arizona in individual & large group competitions.

From elementary to high school, students are provided opportunities to create & perform music, relate it to cross-curricular content and evaluate musical performance as outlined in the state’s music standards. Celebrating student musicians, KUSD has hosted its annual district band & choral festivals for over forty years.
