The Early College program offers qualifying high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to take college courses on the Mohave College campus while fulfilling high school graduation requirements.
Students follow the college schedule and must take a minimum of three college courses throughout the day in addition to one high school course.
The student will attend classes on the Mohave College campus per the college schedule, which may include evening courses.
The student must earn a grade of C or better in all college courses to remain in the program. (Nursing program students must get a 3.0 (B) or better in all nursing courses.)
Students must attend and pass the required high school anchor course taught on the Mohave College campus.
Students are required to attend a mandatory orientation and Boot Camp before beginning the program.
Students will have access to academic success support, including office hours provided by both the District Administrator and Mohave College faculty.
All college privileges and resources, including library access, tutoring, and student services, are available to participants.
Students are expected to demonstrate responsibility, time management, and academic integrity.
