Our 6th graders did an “around the world project” 🌎 and presented it last week to the school!!
Each group had to research their country, create a power point and film a travel commercial, extra points if you dressed as someone from your country or brought in food from their country
Such a fun project 🌎 🇮🇹 🇷🇺 🇯🇵 🇧🇷 🇨🇳 🌎
Awesome job 6th graders!

Mount Tipton Elementary School had an exciting day of exploration and learning for their Trades Career Exploration Day!
They also had the privilege of welcoming graphic arts designer, Emily Geisler, and the CTE students from Lee Williams High School and Kingman High School, showcasing their talents in fire science, culinary arts, welding, and law & public safety. 🔥👨🍳⚒️🚓
The 6th-grade students from Ms. Young’s class got a firsthand look at the world of aviation with a visit to Air'Zona Aircraft Services in the industrial park, where they learned all about airplane mechanics!
A HUGE thank you to Lake Mohave Ranchos Fire Department Mohave Ranchos Fire Department for joining us and sharing your knowledge with the students!

What a heartwarming story!
The Goodie Two Shoes Foundation truly made a significant impact on the students at Mount Tipton Elementary School today, by providing them with brand-new shoes 👟of their choice, six pairs of socks, and dental kits. It’s incredible to see such generosity and support, especially since this marks the organization’s first outreach outside Nevada.
📣A huge shoutout to the Barbarich Family and the Goodie Two Shoes team for making this possible and bringing joy to the Dolan Springs community and its students!

Congratulations are in order for three talented students from Kingman Unified School District who have achieved remarkable success in the Mohave County Tobacco Use Prevention Calendar Drawing Contest.
This year's theme, "Hang Tough, Don't Puff," inspired many creative entries, and we are proud to announce our school district's winners.
🌟🌟Winners:
▪️Angel Bliss, 6th grader at Mount Tipton Elementary School
▪️Olivia Plaunty, 4th grader at Hualapai Elementary School
▪️Aerolyn Starr, 8th grader at Black Mountain Schools
These young artists have not only showcased their artistic talents but also contributed to an important cause by promoting a tobacco-free lifestyle. Their works are featured in the upcoming calendar, serving as a reminder of the importance of making healthy choices.

Let’s give one more round of applause to the talented members of the Black Mountain Schools, Hualapai Elementary School, Mount Tipton Elementary School, White Cliffs Middle School and Lee Williams High School Choirs. Their performance during Wednesday’s KUSD Choral Festival was inspirational. The concert included a special appearance of Ed, the Invisible Dragon. Take a bow, Talented Musicians 👏 👏

Join our district's talented vocalists this week for the nearly 40-year tradition of KUSD Choral Festivals. Singers grades 3-12 will come together in song to celebrate music and their passion. Both festival performances are free and open to the public.
