Cerbat had an exciting game on Thursday. Coach Devoid arranged to have Mt. Tipton students come and play soccer against some of our 5th-grade students. It was a close game, and we can't wait to do this next year. Coach Devoid hopes to broaden the athletics events and programs at Cerbat and work with other Elementary PE teachers to host more matches next year!

Update #4 - 4/30/24 at 4:15pm: Cerbat Elementary School is currently on a lockdown in response to an incident in the area, not at the school. Law enforcement authorities are actively investigating the situation. We want to assure you that all students and staff participating in after-school programs are safe. For safety reasons, Cerbat students participating in after-school programs riding activity buses home, must be picked up directly from the school. Please bring your ID. Pick up will be in lobby.
Update #3 - 4/30/25 at 3:10pm: Families at Black Mountain School, you are now able to pick up your student from school. Please have your ID's readily available.
Update #2 - 4/30/25 at 2:45pm: In response to the recent incident in the Golden Valley area and for the safety of the staff and students, Black Mountain School is currently under a hard lockdown while law enforcement conducts their search and investigation in Golden Valley, not at the school. All students are safe inside the building.

KUSD Families,
We have received information from the Kingman Police Department regarding an armed suspect believed to be in the Golden Valley area. In light of this situation, and prioritizing the safety and well-being of our students, KUSD WILL NOT be dropping off any students who ride a KUSD school bus to Golden Valley at this time. We kindly request that parents in Golden Valley arrange to pick up their children directly from the school. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

This notification is to inform you that our school was placed on a hard lockdown due to a potential threat outside the school. This means that we implemented safety measures to protect our students and staff. Once the lock down was lifted, all staff and students were released safely. TODAY
Last Thursday, the students at Cerbat Elementary School had tremendous success during its second event of the school year with The Cerbat Store. Students were excited to sell and purchase a variety of treats and items using their Ram bucks!
This experience provides valuable lessons in entrepreneurship, sales, money management, and beyond!
