Spring Break is March 15th - 19th. AIMS testing April 12th - 22nd.

"We have started AIMS preparation classes in the areas of language arts and math after school.  The classes are available every day after school except for Friday’s.  Students that are in the classes are allowed to take the activity bus home.  Remember, our school goal is to become a Highly Performing school.  In order to achieve that goal, we are going to need all of our students to do the best job they can on the test.  There are separate classes for each subject and for each grade level.  Your student is welcome to come every day or any day they choose.  If your student needs to make up points in the area of attendance or behavior, this will help them.  For every 4 days that they go to the AIMS prep classes, they will earn back ½ of a point.  You should also know that we have cancelled any Saturday schools in favor of these AIMS prep classes."     John Venenga,  Principal

Congratulations on 100% AIMS 2009 testing participation! WE MADE AYP!

“We are beginning to see cases of Influenza in our schools. We do have a few confirmed cases of Influenza A also known as the H1N1 virus. It is very important for parents to keep sick children at home and seek medical attention with a rising fever. Children should not come back to school until 24 hours after the fever has stopped. Please do not send children back to school while the child is being given a fever reducing aid. The fever needs to be gone without the use of a fever reducing aid for 24 hours. Children are highly contagious while a fever is present. Any student with a fever will be asked to check in with the health office before retuning to the classroom. Thank you for your cooperation.”

MOHAVE COUNTY KIDS

We sincerely appreciate your call when your child will be absent from school. Now a signed note following the absence is required if the absence is to be considered EXCUSED.   This is a new regulation set down by the State Department of Education in conjunction with State Attendance Law, A.R.S. 15-802.
