PASS Goes Red for Isabel

On Friday, February 3, 2006, National Wear Red Day, Americans across the country wear red to unite in national observance and to give women a personal and urgent wake-up call about their risk for heart disease.

Too few people realize that heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women (and men), but the good news is heart disease largely can be prevented. Spreading the Go Red For Women message Love Your Heart raises awareness of heart disease and empowers women to reduce their risk.

We at PASS started observing Wear Red Day this year in 2006 (though belatedly on February 6th!) to show our love for those who struggle with this disease and promote awareness within our community. PASS staff and students donned red clothing and pins to unite in observance of this national problem.

Simply wear red clothes or accessories on February 3rd to show your support for women's heart disease awareness!

REMEMBER: February 3rd

Wear Red Day!

(We promise, next year
we'll remember on time!)
