PASS STUDENTS OUT HIKING

PASS teachers Kip Gorder and Tamera Ross take students outdoors on nature hikes for the PASS Grand Canyon Class, building up to an actual hike in the Grand Canyon

PASS Students posing on a break
Gordon and Kyle pausing to enjoy the scenery

Fun, friends, and a chance at solitude...  a nature hike at PASS is always a good time!
Jennifer looks over the canyon we just hiked through
How many students can you fit on a rock?

Exploring the wilderness...
Lots of brush and boulders make our Mt. Nutt Wilderness hike our favorite

Exploring in the rocks, a geological adventure!
With team work, anything is possible

There's never a dull moment with Sarah and Cindy along
Gordon and Kyle are usually the first to find the highest point

At the turn-around point of our hikes, we all find a
comfortable rock and enjoy a silent minute
Sarah is our queen of optical illusion- she's actually lying on her stomach on a flat rock 3 feet from the ground

More fun times cleaning up Wagon Trail Park

Riding out to the Black
Mountains for the hike
Ready to start a hike in the Black Mountains of Golden Valley

Fun outside the classroom, smell the fresh air!
Sitting in a cave in the Black Mountains
Listening to a lesson on rattlesnakes

Teachers Sandy McCoy and Tamera Ross outside of the PASS walls
A rare picture of an actual animal spotted on a hike, a desert bighorn sheep!!
