Welcome everyone! You’ve ventured into a good place--our Manzanita Elementary School Website, an Arizona Department of Education recognized “Excelling” school 2008-2009. We are a school with tradition and excellence. We cordially invite you to make yourself at home and stay awhile. Whether you are a prospective parent looking at schooling options in Kingman, a parent whose children currently attend, an admiring grandparent keen to see what your loved ones have been doing in school, or an fellow educator or student interested in what our teachers and students are learning and sharing via the internet, we are confident you will find the words and images within to be rich and informative.

Our school serves Preschool through 5th grade. We strive to provide all students with a friendly and encouraging study environment, rigorous academic curriculum offerings and support services designed to meet the individual differences among our learners. At Manzanita we take pride in nurturing a child’s natural curiosity and desire to grow. As you will see, students enjoy rich opportunities to develop all their talents and skills—reading, throwing/catching, singing, solving problems of all kinds, and working constructively with classmates to name a few. These children show a great deal of pleasure and pride in their work and by doing so they inspire their peers and the adults around them. That is some of the things which makes us an Excelling school and is a strength of this place.

***Wanda Oden, Assistant Superintendent, is Kingman Unified School District's Title IX compliance officer.
