AFTERNOON DISMISSAL OF CERBAT STUDENTS

Please note the following procedures and rules regarding the dismissal of students at the end of the school day. These procedures are to safeguard the release of students and to expedite your exit from the school. With many students under our care, it is important that they are released in a safe and orderly manner. We thank you for your cooperation in following these procedures.
All go home changes need to be in writing with a note sent to school with the student. Please do not call the school with go home changes.

· Check out will be in the gym for grades 1 to 5. Kindergarten check out is in room 133.
· No pre-sign-outs after 3:00. The office staff is very busy alerting students and teachers of bus changes and pick-up information between 2:45 and 3:20. Thanks!
· Students sit against the wall under the designated grade level sign.
· Parent/Guardian identifies self to assistant. Assistant will call student up for verification.
· Parent/Guardian signs out student. This is of utmost importance to safe guard each child!!!
· Please leave the gym with your child immediately after pick up to relieve congestion.
· Leave gym through southwest doors. Teachers & their classes are exiting through the front foyer doors to board buses at this time. This will alleviate “traffic jams.”
· Students may not play instruments, run around gym or eat while waiting to be picked up.
· Please DO NOT go to classrooms. Teachers are busy getting students ready for dismissal and going over any last minute instructions.
· PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH OUR STAFF, WE CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILDREN.
