Golden Valley is located in the Sacramento Valley.  Our part of the valley is defined by the Black Mountains to the West.  Their highest peak is approximately 4,800 feet.  The northeastern edge of the Valley is bordered by the Cerbat Mountains with peaks ranging from 4,600 - 7,300 feet. Further southeast you will find the Hualapai Mountains with 4 peaks above 7,000 feet.

Black Mountain Elementary School is located on the north side of Highway 68 between Kingman, the county seat of Mohave, and Bullhead City, along the Colorado River.  For more information, please check out our local Golden Valley Chamber of Commerce web-site for more information.
