The faculty and staff at Black Mountain are delighted to welcome you to our school. We hope you will become involved with us to provide the best possible education for our students. We continue to grow and expand in all areas of learning to meet the challenges of our world today. Academic excellence is the foundation on which we continue to build.
Our Mission
It is the purpose of Black Mountain School to provide a safe and healthy environment where the intellectual, social, and emotional needs of all children can be met.

All students will successfully develop the foundational knowledge, skills, and behaviors essential to become lifelong learners and responsible decision makers in an ever-changing world.
Foundational Beliefs
- All members of the school community will be treated with dignity and respect.
